The Apple Mouth bit has a synthetic mouthpiece that gives off a subtle apple flavour when in contact with saliva. This stimulates the horse to produce more saliva, making it easier for the horse to accept the bit. At 14 mm, the mouthpiece is relatively narrow, making it well suited for horses that have less space in the mouth.

Thanks to the combination of flexible plastic and high-quality stainless steel, the bits are stable, yet particularly soft and friendly. The plastic has a hardness of 90a and is FDA approved.
