The 5 Star safety stirrup is equipped with a hinged safety mechanism. In the event of a fall, the stirrup opens at the outer hinge. This prevents the rider from getting caught in the stirrup in most situations. The outer hinge automatically returns and closes at the bottom. After use, store the saddle and stirrups in a dry, well-ventilated tack room. Regularly check the condition of the safety stirrup material and inspect it for damage. Perform a quality control of the safety system by regularly opening the stirrup and checking the hinge function. Replace the stirrups or a part of them immediately if the material is damaged. Recommended footwear: riding boots or jodhpur shoes made of smooth material without uneven or rough parts on the foot, with a smooth sole without a profile.
