HORKA seljakaitse pakub kaitset nii selja- kui ka rinnapiirkonnale sarnaselt tavapärasele turvavestile. See vastab EN 1621-2 ohutusstandardile, mis on algselt pärit motospordist. Kuna ratsaspordile pole veel eraldi Euroopa sertifikaati seljakaitsete jaoks, on see standard ametlikult kasutusel ka ratsaspordis – kukkumisel tekkivad löögijõud on mõlemas valdkonnas sarnased.

Seljakaitse populaarsus ratsaspordis kasvab, sest võrreldes traditsioonilise turvavestiga pakub see suuremat paindlikkust ja mugavust. EVA-mäluvahust perforeeritud osad tagavad parema ventilatsiooni kui kõvast vahust plokkidega kaitsed.

The back protector of HORKA provides protection to the front and back, just like a regular body protector. For back protectors is the standard EN 1621-2. This protector and standard are taken from motorsport as the equestrian still does not have a European certification for this type of protector. In motorsports are similar levels of impact during a fall, therefore this type is permitted in the equestrian sport. Various parties in the equestrian industry aim to handle this same certification in a few years, in order to provide clarity in the market. The back protector is increasingly used in equestrian sports because it adds more flexibility and comfort features than the body protector. The EVA foam parts are perforated allowing improved ventilation in comparison with protectors with fixed hard foam blocks.

Material: cover: 90% nylon, 10% polyester / lining: EVA memory foam

*Most of the foam parts can be removed which makes the back protector suitable for the washing machine.
